it is connected to the "today" file that sometimes gets reset... I havent found the bug yet... only put up a dummy "today" stats file... but it appears to be fixed for now. I'll try to get to this later, but truth be told, I am considering taking down RRBBS. So, if there are posts on here that you want to keep, now is the time to back them up!

While it is very sad to see this, better than most, BBS board taken down, it seems it has had its' day. Everyone has gone their way with their busy life it seems. Thank you from all of us I am sure, for your valiant efforts over all these years, not to mention the money you have expended to keep this RRBBS going for so long. I for one, have so enjoyed meeting and reading everyones' adventures and experiences. How do I save my blog? Do I have to print it all up?

Although it's sad that you're considering taking RRBBS down, it might be its time. Now that we have AJ, it's hard to find the time to post. I have to say, though, that you've done a wonderful job keeping this site up for years! Not to mention the expense you've had to pay, so that it's a free service to others for their enjoyment. Thanks a whole lot for providing such a great place to meet new people, learn new things and a place to just simply vent. :) Luv ya!

Rob, I've loved being here and "meeting" everyone. But I can see how priorities have changed. Thanks so much for all the time, expertise and $$ you've put in here, building this community. Give us some warning when you'll pull it down. There are some things I want to save. Wait at least until Saundra dishes more dirt on her situation!

Thanks, all! I'm sure I'll keep a blog, for sure... just hard to find the time for this and to justify the expense at this point. I pay way too much for my provider, considering what I am doing with the servers that I have. :( Thanks all for your participation... I'll give notice when and if it shuts down, but I suspect it won't be earlier than early November (might aim to shut it down around its fifth birthday and let RRBBS start kindergarten). :)

I saved my blog onto my favorites and it seems to do the trick, then I can copy it at will. Will it go when you take the board down? We have needed new blood additions for a long time, don't know why it didn't happen, but wow, five years is a good run for anything...Happy almost B-day to RRBBS! Longer than alot of marriages...:)

I will be really sad to see RRBBS go. This has been without a doubt my favorite site on the entire web. Thank You for keeping it up and running. I have made some wonderful friends here. Perhaps there is a low maintenance, low cost(free) alternative available to stay in touch.

I did note the word considering, and as always I would be willing to subscribe to help offset expenses....but our community does seem to be awfully small these days. Don't forget there is an election year pending upon us and perhaps one of the most heated and debatable presidential races in history.

Booga had mentioned this to me several times over the phone the last few times I talked to him. As many here know or maybe have noticed that I'm in a heated divorce with no end in sight. I enjoy coming here and reading which takes me away from troubles I have now. I have enjoyed my stay as much as anyone else and would be glad to contribute to keep it up going. Booga stumbled on a good idea about the music threads. I think it has pulled the musically inclined a little tighter. I know I'm stopping by 2 to 3 times a day now. I consider BBS to be my home away from home, especially after I have fallen off of something.
