Wedding Planning - Suit Shopping

Todd and I are getting married in May and yesterday we went shopping for a suit for him. We ended up going the sport jacket and matching slacks route, which he will be more likely to wear again, rather than a more formal suit. Since we're getting married outside at a ranch and my dress is elegant but not too fancy, I think it'll work!

I'm excited about the ties we found for him and his bestman, groomsman, and ring bearer to wear. They are a really pretty red/black/beige design from the Jerry Garcia collection. Who knew that Jerry Garcia made ties? lol Anyway the ties are beautiful and will work well back to my flowers which are going to be burgundy and dusty pink colored.

As an aside, Todd's suit is going to end up costing more than my wedding dress!

Sounds like you already know how to be a good wife, Carol. Love someone more than yourself.

Your Jerry Garcia theme sounds modern and exciting. I have bought those ties for loved ones, and enjoy the colors too.

Can't wait to see your pictures. Not only the colorful scheme, but the glow on your and Todd's face. A beginning, think you are already off to a grand start.

I think practicality is definitely the way to go. I am so excited for you two... now, how to get Todd posting on RRBBS... hmmmm...

lol, not likely - he has a myspace page but doesn't spend too much time on the internet - especially this time of year when he's working 120 hour weeks!
