So does anybody have any backyard plans this weekend?

I am having a small amount of family out. I think I am gonna smoke a brisket for most of the day. When they arrive I will take it off the heat and then change to some chicken for those that don't want go for the beef. Also, we are going to go to Gelson's to get some summer veggies to grill up as well!

Only problem is..I get to LIMP(see main base for klutz-of-the-year nomination) the entire weekend..oh boy!

We went to the Cajun Festival in Simi Valley yesterday. What a hoot! Its $15.00 a person and worth every penny. Tons of vendors...all kinds of Cajun food booths and ongoing Cajun music. The weather is cooler than usual so expect crowds if you go.

Today we're headed for a campground in Frasier Park. We're joing our son and his family there for a BBQ lunch.

Do ya see a pattern here? This way I dont have to cook all weekend.

Enjoy your family.......Pull up a chair next to your BBQ and let them do the leg work BB.

So good in fact...that we're going to buy tickets next year online and give them as birthday gifts to our kids.
