Did you know that green tea contains powerful antioxidants that can help with the following?

To sum up, here are just a few medical conditions in which drinking green tea is reputed to be helpful:

cancer
rheumatoid arthritis
high cholesterol levels
cariovascular disease
infection
impaired immune function

I've also read that green tea can help with losing weight and can help prevent tooth decay.

So, drink up, folks! I drink approximately 2-3 cups of green tea a day. It's good stuff!

I love green tea. Now I have even more reason to drink it, though if you drink a lot, I would recommend the decaf green tea.

I can drink green tea but it is not a real fav. I used to drink it at the sushi bar when I didn't want a beer..but I have found out a wonderful little secret....

That sweet lemonaide that comes from the soda machines now is REALLY darn good with sushi! Dunno why,..maybe the lemon..but I am at the point now where I don't even order a beer with my sushi and get the lemonaide instead!

That makes sense. After all, we sometimes put lemon juice on fish to cut the taste of the fish.

I'll break away from my radicalism and say I agree, gereen tyea has so many wonderful benefits, not all of them are fully understood yet. I recomend a jasmine green tea. That smell and taste is unbeatable. If you want sweeten it up a bet, I recomend using local honey,( not massively produced) but small scale local bee farmers. U can tell the difference.

But remeber it seems what they tell us is good for us one day, might be bad the next. Soy in massive massive amounts is bad for u like anything in large amounts. (yes I know what your thinking) I guess everyone has their poison.

That's just the way we love it too. The jasmine green tea is the best. The problem is, I haven't been able to find decaf jasmine green tea, just the plain green tea. So, I try not too drink it too often as I'm not supposed to have a lot of caffiene.

If you started smoking soy, I might not have any objections, though.

I know what you mean...just the other day, I had to go downtown to a seedy park to get my fix of tofu.

There is some common ground. That sounds great, better even than those peanut butter and syrup pancakes someone was telling me about the other day.

Green tea has a lot of benefits including benefits for hair, skin, eyesight and also dental problems.

But one should be careful not to consume much green tea in a day. This might increase acidic content in the body.

Also, it is not advisable for pregnant women as well.
Here's the link stating benefits and cautions while green tea, http://www.greenteasource.com/health/benefits
