I have not been able to get to the Sushi bar as of late(which is good..saves me a ton of cash!)

Has there been any Danny sightings??

Sounds like a true case of Danny withdrawal to me! Hang in there BB!

Marie and I have been there a few times in the last month or so... no Danny. There are new chefs there...

Sadly, service was very bad the last time we were there on all accounts. The new chef could barely speak English and, as such, we found that he wouldn't understand when we were ordering.

The indicator for us that he missed our order (after nodding that he had heard us) was when another group at the sushi bar who ordered AFTER us got their food.

I have noticed, also, that the owner of the place (at least we think he is the owner) has all of the sudden become extremely nice.

The place just isn't the same without Danny...

The wife stopped in there last night and had a quick conversation with one of the waitresses that we know there. Unfortunatly, she was not very forthcoming with her answers. She said that the "owner told her" that Danny went to Korea and that was all she could say. My wife pressed her, but she had no info that she was giving away.

My thoughts are that, seeing as how Danny JUST bought a house and has a kid at Nobel Middle School, that he probably just got pissed at the owner and went somewhere else. Now..how to find him?

I certainly agree that the place is just not the same anymore. But then..to me, a sushi bar IS the sushi master and everything depends on what that person is doing. We have stopped going to certain places because of the personalities and not the food quality.

Saves us a TON on our dining budget..but I DO like sushi so it looks like we will have to start to look around...again.
