HAPPY 2006 TO YOU AND YOURS!!

What did you do to bring in the New Year? We went to a fantasic french restaurant on Ventura Blvd called LePetite Jacques. A very small homey place in an elegant setting with the best service and food we've had in a long time. It was like having dinner with family. The onion soup was delicious and the paella...Im told was wonderful. I had filet mignon in a to die for sauce along with fresh spinach and mashed potatoes. YUM! Oh and the desserts! Dont leave without trying them. Be warned! One is enough for 4 people.

A Happy and Healthy 2006 to you and your family, Murphy.

We stayed at home, as usual. Earlier in the day, we took Matt to a UCLA Basketball game. We lost, but it was fun.

I did the same thing I do every year.

At around midnight, my wife heard some firecrackers and woke me up to wish me a Happy New Year...........

Happy and healthy New Year to you and yours, Murph...

We went to the MGM GRAND private party. Invitation only formal affair.

Absolutely amazing. besides the gourmet food provided, open bar, they put on a "Cirque de Soleil" type entertainment for us.

they had photographers present to take as many pictures as you wanted and they printed them on the spot (yea computers) and yes, they were free.

The pastry chefs prepared such amazing chocolate statues of flowers and the like, which were amazing and etible too.

The guest bands played all night and the dancing was fun, although I drank more than I am used to and whew...lol

Sounds like you had a blast too...
