Okay heres another great place to eat thats well worth the drive. Its called Pickles Deli in Newbury Park and its wonderful!

Its owned by the same folks that own Abes Deli in Chatsworth. Good food at reasonable prices and very good service.

Sounds good!

World Famous Brent's Deli just opened a second location in Westlake Village, by the way.

Is it "World Famous" because it IS World Famous...or because that is the name of the business? (Personally, I like Abe's..but I have nothing against Brent's..or even Jerry's!)

Brent's pretty much is world famous, I think

Abe's is ok, but it ain't Brent's IMHO.

LOL..in an odd way that is VERY funny....

When up in The Dalles, there was NO deli..the closest you could get to a pastrami was a double meat at Subway!

And here WE are in El Lay...Jewish deli's, Mexican deli's, Greek, Italian, German..I am sure that somewhere in this big city is an Eskimo deli! ("I'll have a blubber on rye please")

SO.......I won't argue the point of what is a "better" deli. Whatever floats yer boat!

"Could I get a pint of seal eyes with that?"

While we are on the subject of pickles, I accidentally spilled a small amount of dill pickle juice in my sweet tea. Being slightly dehydrated and sweating like I was on the chain gang, I drank it anyway. Turn out quite good. Now I drink all my sweet tea with a couple slices of pickle in it.

How about this? Doritos and vanilla ice cream! YUM! I scoop ice cream with the chip... and the saltiness of the Doritos and sweetness of the ice cream mixes well together.
