Message #2716 of 2744  *NEW* To From Subject Date All Marie Reed   Melting Pot 8/12/07, 9:54am Rob, AJ and I went to the Melting Pot in Pasadena to meet friends for dinner last Thursday night. It's a fondue place, and it was fantastic! Excellent atmosphere and food! Rob and I were very surprised at the great food. Desert was the highlight. The only thing about that place is that, even though they accommodate babies/children with high chairs, they don't have a baby changing station. I thought that was weird. I had to go to a "staff room" to change AJ's diaper. If you've never been there, I highly recommend it! It's right on Colorado Blvd. and Delacey (spelling?). It's in the same building as JJ's Steakhouse. JJ's Steakhouse is another great place. A bit pricey, but excellent food. The men have to wear a sports coat or suit for dinner. Saladang Song is another restaurant that I can recommend. It's on Fair Oaks Ave. in Pasadena as well. This is a great Thai restaurant. There are to Saladang restaurants side by side. It's kinda weird, but it works for me! One restaurant is more ethnic (and formal) than the other. Both have a wonderful menu.
