Mount Whitney, Part Two
3/30/05, 11:08am
I just got my confirmation letter from the Inyo National Forest. I'm headed to the top of Mount Whitney again this year! I'm scheduled to dayhike the main trail on September 15. Actually, I'm thinking of doing it twice, going up the Mountaineer's Route on August 18, also. That's the shortest and most difficult route that doesn't require ropes and technical climbing. Also, that route doesn't require a permit, so I can take my time deciding about that one. We'll see when the time comes...

When did I ever say I wasn't sure about the April 8th date? I'll be there...

What is the Mist Trail? It sounds familiar, but I don't know why.

The trail up to Vernal and Nevada Falls in Yosemite

Actually, now that I think about it, I am not sure I could handle it...Maybe a better example would have been the trail to the bottom of Lower Yosemite Falls

Oh...I thought I read elsewhere that you weren't sure. Looking forward to seeing everybody.
