I don't know if I would buy pearls off ebay. It just doesn't seem safe or wise to buy items like this unseen.

How long do pears stay ripe, anyway? Wouldn't they be rotten by the time they finally got to the buyer?

I'll stick to the fresh pairs from the local clothing stores. Imagine putting the black light to pairs of used, ebay jeans.

I'll have a new ride to pimp in an hour or two. Just waiting for the dealership to call me and say the car has arrived... I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve.

First thing I'm gonna do is take it to Al & Ed's and have the windows tinted.

Pics will be posted pretty soon...

Speaking of grilling. Does anyone else have a George Forman grill? Had company over last night and grilled 3 huge steaks on the one I bought. These folks are staunch believers in "nothin like a gas grill" and they couldn't believe how good they were.

Re: Grills of Ebay
6/27/04, 6:09pm (Last Edited: 6/27/04, 6:09pm)
I won a grill one night at Hooters during half time of a Monday Night Football Game. Part of the Monday Night promotion was a crouton spitting contest. I have for years now lobbied the U.S. Olympic Committee to include crouton spitting in the games but there is only minimal support for such an endeavor. As I stood that lone Monday Night as champion and surrounded by blonds but being overcome with the peroxide and perfume vapors and was presented with my grill I exclaimed, "Grill!? I thought you said you all were giving away a girl!

Anyhows though, I did walk away a winner and sporting on my right arm a brand new grill. I think back then that the grill was easier to explain to Bunny than the alternative.

I have one. It is okay.... I heard that George had the product in his house for a month or so when his wife told him to take a look at it. A gazillion or so units later he is glad he did.

Now, that would be very tough for me..cooking up some nice meat for guests while I could only have soup.

Its quick....easy and a healthy way to fix any kind of meat as well as veggies IF you don't have a BBQ. Always spray a little PAM on it first so clean up is a breeze.

A frozen Boca Burger could be on its bun in less than 10 minutes.

Its a strange thing...this fasting...after the first week you aren't hungry anymore. I sure prefer it over diet pills or any other "diet."

LOL!!!!!!!! I love that film!! Those gulls were great. By the way, they use the "mine, mine," gull sound effect at Dodger Stadium after one of those pop fly catches by the opposing team wher a bunch of fielders go out under the same ball.
