I know the feeling of losing an email address all too well.Just over a year ago, I cancelled one of my three business numbers because I was "trimming the fat," and didn't need the third line.
Turns out that my DSL account was connected to that line. I had forgotten, and I did not remember (the DSL account was registered nearly two years before).
The representative that I spoke with did not tell me...
And, I find out that the DSL account is gone when they just shut it off... Verizon would not let me keep my previous account.
