Technically, Kerry hasn't lost yet...

[wink, wink]

Here are the numbers.

155,337 Provisional Ballots issued in Ohio.

2,796,147 vote for Bush
2,659,664 votes for Kerry

Assuming every Provisional Ballot is accepted, Kerry only needs to win 88% of that vote!

Which brings me to another point. What the hell is a "provisional ballot?" Marie and I were asking that all night...

So, I just took the liberty to look up a definition on the net:

One of the requirements of the new Help Americans Vote Act is that every one of the 193,000 election polling stations in America must now allow anyone to cast a “vote” — whether or not they’re registered, whether or not they’re eligible — so that no potentially legitimate voter will ever be turned away.

Under the law, would-be voters who show up at polling places but whose names can’t be found on the lists of registered eligible voters must now be allowed to cast so-called “provisional ballots.

So, there.

Go Kerry! [wink, wink]

So lets see Kerry received 48.7% of the vote of actual voters. He needs 88% of the "who knows if their real" voters. I think that he still has a chance.... Ha Ha
