I went to Anza-Borrego 3 weekends ago and it was incredible! Going to Death Valley this weekend then Carrizo Plain and the CA Poppy Reserve on the two following weekends. Some folks have said it's the best year in a decade or two! We want to organize a ride up through the preserve soon as its in full bloom. My hubby is in Death Valley this week and says its specatular there. He said they have received nearly six inches of rain, which is unheard of. I think their average is around 1"-2".
