Yee haw! Small town rodeo!

For Todd's Birthday two weekends ago we went up to Lake Isabella to see his friends and family. This happened to also be Whiskey Flats Weekend so we went to the smalltown Kernville Rodeo. We got in for free because Todd's best friend is one of the ambulance drivers and we rode in the back, lol Anyway, there was the traditional bull ridin' and barrel racin', but I especially enjoyed the Mutton Bustin' (where little kids try to ride a sheep, hang on!). It was a beautiful warm day in the Southern Sierra and we had fun

That looks like it was fun! I haven't been to a rodeo in ages. We used to go to them all the time when I was growing up in Nebraska. I even got to meet Pat Boone at one of those rodeos way back then...

My cousin's son is a professional rodeo rider. I've yet to see him perform.
