I am gonna present some images that originated as photographs. These images are of captive animals that are on display at the Georgia Aquarium. I visited the Aquarium in the not too distant past and accumilated a number of images (You guys know I am a diehard shutterbug.) I always have reservations about posting images of captive animals because I dont want to take away from my photos of wild animals by intermingling captive animal images with them. So I generally include a disclaimer on my captive animal images. The following images have been manipulated in photoshop to the point that I consider them more art than photograph. The first ones I'll post are of whale sharks. I have actually encountered a wild whale shark in the Gulf a few years back while fishing with a friend. I did not get any photos but the vivid images are forever engraved in my memory. With that being said please enjoy.
