Anyone watching the Olympics?

I'm not as interested in the Olympics this year for some reason. I don't know if it's how it's being covered, and the sequence of each event is out of whack? Or maybe there are just more interesting shows to watch?

I used to LOVE watching the winter Olympics, especially figure skating. I'm just not as into it this time.

Yep, we always watch the Olympics, especially the Winter Olympics. I always start out thinking, I'm not going to watch every night, but then we get caught up in it.

I have never really liked the olympics all that much. I don't know why. I'll watch it if there is nothing else on TV I like.

I have been watching the Olympics. I like them better than anything else on the tube.

I never watch the summer Olympics, but I always watch the winter ones! I have a thing for female ice skaters... lol

I'm watching the ice dancing competitions right this minute. These skaters are even better than the figure skaters! Simply amazing...

The Olympics are OK I guess...

..I was kinda hoping that the Tour De California would be on TV....

Ice dancing is my favorite. I felt so sad for the three couples in a row last night that fell in their last moves before the end of their program. The look on their faces was heart breaking for sure. All the daily hours of practice over and over again striving for perfection, and then in one brief moment, thrown out the door.

I will watch again tonight and root for USA naturally. I do like the Russians though. The USA team is so wholesome looking and look to be picture perfect. Pretty people, talented, and I guess lucky their performance was nearly flawless and they didn't fall.

We here in Vegas have different sleep patterns as this city Never sleeps. So we end up watching the Olympics in the early a.m. hours when we wake up. I really appreciate all the effort these young people go through to reach their goals.

It was on two stations up here this morning. It was the news though, and I don't think they covered it in it's entirety, but both stayed with it for at least a half hour. I don't know how much longer they covered it because that's when I left the motel this morning.

One thing I've noticed about the Olympics this year is that ALL of the athletes are good looking, in every sport. There doesn't seem to be an ugly one in the bunch, or even a just plain looking one.

To me, this would be a PERFECT use of the Internet. They could film/tape the entire event with commercials and commentary and then they could sell it..at say, $1 a shot..for downloading by crazies like me!

They could do the same for the Olympics! Hey, I wanna see men's cross-country Mountain biking..and of course, on TV they only show the "highlights". I would pay a buck to see the ENTIRE thing!

They are a great group to watch. When the skaters make it look easy, it is really hard.

I would love to be that graceful. The skates are really heavy, it amazes me that these petite women can lift them at all.

There has to be someone doing that somewhere... You can't be the only one to come up with the idea.

I'm starting to get into some podcasts. I downloaded a bunch before this trip and burned them to CD to listen to in my car while driving. It's been great. My favorites so far were the ones I grabbed from coverville.com. Pretty cool stuff.

I used to go ice skating when I was real young. I never had a problem keeping my balance, but I never did figure out how to skate backward.
