ROD STEWART (hot)

I was so excited to be invited to see "Rod Stewart" perform his one night only show at MGM GRAND Saturday night. He is 60 years old and it must be true that "Todays 60 is yesterday's 40" He sang all of his songs and was so well received by the audience. He has so much energy and I love his rugged look, messy crop of hair and raspy voice. One of his songs brought me to tears reminding me of another time in my life. Funny how music can bring back memories both bad and good. The place was sold out and rockin...Don't know why he only has one performance.
Ate at an incredible steak house there too. Kobe beef and lobster, crab risotto and English peas. Yummm. Strongly recommend this restaurant called "CraftSteak House. Dinner was over $400.00, sheese glad I didn't have to pay. I can't think about how they raise Kobe beef or can"t eat it. No wonder I am gaining back the weight I lost in my coma. lol

Saw the same show about 6 months ago at the M.G.M. , yes he was great,
He grew up in London as I did, at about the same time.
I was BORN in Wales, HE, was Born in London, his Parents were Scots, makes him MORE of a Londoner than me., even though he was "Brainwashed " as to his ancestry, as was I.

I really enjoyed the 2nd half of the show he performed then , i.e. 40s with full orchestra, "black tie, tails etc., dont know if he did same here

Yes Rob, Rod was brilliant in his "tails" and the songs were great and memorable too. At the end of the show he kicked out lots of signed soccer balls(by him) a pretty good kicker I must say. No, I didn't catch one. Darn. I believe he owns a soccer team now? Wasn't this where we saw Bette Miller? Next time in Vegas, give us a call and maybe we can meet at the pub for a "Shandy", had one last night with our mutual pal Italo. Boy, he sure can talk your head off. lol He still looks mighty fit, but has had a hernia repaired and an angioplasty which proved negative. If you have a special show you would like to see, let me know I have pretty good contacts here now , so most likely can get you good tickets and comped to boot. (as if we don't pay in the long run...lol) P.S. looked for you on the telly at Charles and Camellas wedding. It brings tears to my eyes to see that they finally have their true love for the rest of their lives, and it appears that the folks are accepting of them for the most part. What a love story. Take care.
