I have never been a fan of college or pro hoops. Lewis Grizzard once wrote about the purpose of the NBA season. He said that they played basket ball six months of the year just to eliminate Sacremento. Once Sacremento was eliminated then they played the rest of the year to declare either Chicago or LA as champions. It makes about that much sense to me and that is as good an explanation as I have heard of the NBA season. The style of play introduced by Michael Jordan and now used by Kobe, Iverson, etc. is too much individual play for me. I prefer college because it's more of a team game.
