It didn't look like he was crossed up at all. From my experience when a catcher gets crossed up he usually tries to move quickly to catch the ball, especially when there are runners on base!! As a followup, the Dodgers just drafted the catcher in question. He still denies there was any wrongdoing and that he was just crossed up.
