Funny thing. I have been continually trying to advertise the baseballgeeks site to get more usership.

I was surprised to discover that during the last few days, I was getting hoardes of hits. I couldn't figure out where it was coming from without checking the referral log.

It seems that a lot of Googlers had a strong desire to find news on Moises Alou and his urinating on his hands as an alternative to the batting glove.

The average baseball news link on BaseballGeeks gets maybe 3 or so clickthroughs. As of this writing, the Alou article news link has gotten 130 clickthroughs.

Lesson: search for more baseball related articles that involve urine.

I wonder if Alou turns to the urine stream next to him to wash his hands when he is done relieving himself. Probably grabs the bar of soap/white thing in the bottom of the urinal to lather with.....I can't believe I actually resorted to using humor that grotesque. Shame on me and shame on Alou.

His hitting has stunk like urine the last 5 or 6 days!

What I can't get is why anyone would TRY this to find out that it builds callouses.

For instance, my dog's poop might make an excellent hair conditioner. But, I'm not going to experiment with it to find out.

I hear that -- I have him on my other team. Of course, I didn't have him up during his initial tear. I only have 1 HR and 8 RBIs from him (for the last three weeks or so).
