I say bands because you have Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band. John Fogerty was obviously the lead singer for Creedence Clearwater Revival. And of course, Dire Straits is a band.

Great tune... I hadn't heard of it... but I liked the vid even more. Ha da big grin on my face the whole time watching.

Here is one for ya... this is the classic version of "Take Me Out To The BallGame."
This guy is one of my faves on YouTube, but he never allows embedding like this of his vids. I guess he wants to spread his Bosox love.

By Steve Goodman....the talented songwriter/musician that also wrote "You Never Even Called Me By My Name". I just learned that Steve was terminally ill when he did this performance.

Thanks so much for posting that. It's always been one of my favorites, ever since I was lucky enough to hear Steve Goodman in concert. It wasn't long after that he passed from leukemia.
I also like his "World's Greatest Country Song", or something close to that.

There is not a lot of Steve on Youtube....I just happened across this one tonight. I think I heard it once but am not sure. It was a must post for RRBBS when I found it.
You're Welcome Larry

That's it! Thank you!
You gotta love the lyric: "Well I was drunk the day my mom got out of prison. And I went to pick her up in the rain But before I could get to the station in a pickup truck She got run'd over by a damned old train And I'll hang around..."
