Forget that I am your mother (impossible) I want to thank you for all of your efforts in creating RRBBS. You have provided me with a most enjoyable outlet filled with many facinating people, whom I would never have known before one way or another. It also affords me with news and education of topics that I may have overlooked. Opinions flow freely. some that I agree with others I don't agree with. Nevertheless, I wanted to take the time to let you know on my behalf, and surely on everyone elses. Easy to admonish, sometimes one forgets to praise. Hear, Hear!!Thanx

Thanks. But, I have always said, I could've put in all the work, only to find nobody use the thing... so I am incredibly appreciative for all of you folks for making this a fun hobby (and for the suggestions that I have implemented -- or will eventually get around to implementing -- on your suggestions.

Cupid's is pretty darn good too.

I USED to love Pinks..but darnit, the last 3 times I have gone there, the food was NOT up to par. In fact, the "hot" dog itself was COLD!

Because my son was brought up by Cupids, I took him to Pink's awhile back to do a "taste-test". He had never been to Pink's. Wouldn't you know, he thought that Pink's was good..but a second to Cupids!

(I have a Cupids fetish that needs to be satisifed like once a month..sometimes,the place just "calls" me!)

Flookies used to one of our KGIL advertisers so I got to try their stuff on a number of occasions. Interesting..sorta Chicago style where you get a hot dog topped by a salad.

I prefer New York style (Onions and mustard) or California style (Gimme dat chili baby!)

BTW, still the worst hot dog on the planet (IMHO) is Der Weinershits. GAWD that stuff is BAD!

I have to agree with you there! What they pass off as a chili burger should be outlawed. And their chili fries look even worse. I've never had the nerve to even try those.

Larry: Funny you mentioned "Flookys" hot dogs...Our little house in the valley was painted bright yellow and brown trim once...Gulp...It was awful. Yellow fades, so we tried a darker shade and YUK...Neddless to say it was repainted quickly. lol

I was watching one of those "Best of" episodes on Food Network and they did one on hot dogs. Turns out there is a famous place in Chicago called Flookies. Its spelled differently than that, but close.

Don't think Larry's missing a decimal point...Having a hotdog at Costco usually costs me $500.00 plus, if you know what I mean...LOL They are mighty tasty and filing too. Try the Chicken bakes...Yummm You can buy them frozen there also. Be careful when heating in the microwave, as they can burn your tongue.

Yummmmm. Love Bar BQued food. Our family used to eat it (home cooked) quite often. Have to look it up. Have you tried "Piggley Wiggleys" on Sepulveda way North and across from Montclair College Prep, (where our son, Mickey went to learn how to STAY in college and prepare) lol the food is really too expensive there, but once in awhile it is a treat for BBQ. You can order one dinner and feed five...Might cost in the neighborhood of $30.00 though. Watch out for their "hot" BQ sauce, HOT... Opps didn't sign in, Sandi Reed

ROFL!!!IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME NOT TO GO THROUGHOUT COSTCO...DARN I STILL SHOP LIKE I HAVE A RAVENOUS FAMILY OF 6...DOWNSIZE SAUNDRA... The meat there, I must say, is beautiful and delicious, not to mention a great savings, if you take the time when you get home, to break down the packages and freeze them for many a pleasant night's meal. (sorry for the run-on sentences, it's the way I talk...)

Have you tried the Costco stuffed salmon fillets? Yummy!

And their chocolate cookies for dessert!

Hi, Sandi,

I meant to say the Costco chocolate CHIP cookes..Oh well

Yep, their salmon fillets are stuffed with a crab/mini shrimp mix. Not very kosher, but yummy.
