RSS Feeds and Blog 'Syndication'

As some of you might know, there are "blog syndication" sites out there that "digest" content on blogs and syndicate the titles and descriptions of posts to internet users who use special software that allows them to briefly review the headlines of various blogs.

The purpose of this is to put on one easy to use page all of the blogs that you are potentially interested in... with the ability to click links to blog entries that sound interesting to you.

Sounds confusing?

Well, it seems to be all of the rage out there.

And, I know that a blogging system here will not possibly be successful unless I incorporate this kind of thing here.

SO, I am experimenting with RSS Feeds here, on the main RRBBS page. If I can figure out a way to get it to work (I have never used this kind of thing before, so it is entirelu new to me), I'll let you know how you can use it to benefit your own RRBBS blogs.

I'm not into all this blog stuff.... Does that mean that ANYTHING I post in the main section is up for grabs and might be posted as a blog? Gotta be more careful about what I post there if that's the case perhaps.

Only those posts that are featured on the RRBBS main page... OR, those that you post to your blog ONLY IF YOU GO THROUGH THE MOTIONS THAT I WILL DETAIL LATER TO SYNDICATE YOUR SITE.

Each blog here will have a "blog syndication" file. BUT, each user here with a blog will have to voluntarily advertise it at one of the sites that I will list in the very near future.

In short, I wouldn't worry about it.

I understand how important your real name and privacy are to you, Candice.

Yuck... it's a real mess right now... I tried playing with some of the functions with adoptblog, and the thing is a MESS.

Try not to make any new blog additions until further notice...

I hope by this post you didn't mean changing the edit stats config page. I did this today and love the new look. I am not sure how to add a my graphics link. If you can add it to my Boogaman logo I would appreciate it. Thanks

The new look looks great... and, no, I didn't mean to include the edit blog configuration thing...

I think blogging messages is okay... but deleting entries and moving them up and down (the new up and down arrows) do not seem to work properly at this point.
