Where Can I Put My Photos so I Can Post 'Em on RRBBS?
Posted by: Rob Reed

They are a free image hosting service... I am throwing a photo up on their service, and if their service works, the photo below will be revealed.

I clicked the browser button next to the entry that asked for a file. I found the picture (jeter4.jpg) on my harddrive, and clicked OK.

The result is a link that looks like this:

http://img91.exs.cx/img91/5378/jeter4.jpg

Pump it into the AMPERSANDimg-filename-imgAMPERSAND command, and voila...

How Do I Post An Image to RRBBS?
Posted by: RRBBS FAQ

1. The command is:

AMPERSANDimg-location of the file-imgAMPERSAND

(Replace AMPERSAND with &. If I didn't spell it out, you wouldn't see the command!)

2. You must have web space somewhere on the web that allows you to "upload" your picture.

3. EXAMPLE: I keep images on RRBBS in an "images" folder (also called a directory) on my RRBBS server's harddrive. So, I upload the images into that folder/directory.

The URL or address of those photos is: http://www.rrbbs.com/images

So, let's say I upload the photo robb.jpg to this directory. The URL or link is, therefore, http://www.rrbbs.com/images/robb.jpg.

So, I need to type this command into my post:

AMPERSANDimg-http://www.rrbbs.com/images/robb.jpg-imgAMPERSAND" target="_blank">

AMPERSANDimg-http://www.rrbbs.com/images/rob
b.jpg-imgAMPERSAND

(replace AMPERSANDS above with &)

4. Here is the result:
